"Well, what do you know," I teased, "you're heart isn't frozen after all."
Darcy scrunched up his face and brought his hands down to my sides and tickled me. I burst into laughter and gripped onto his body until he laughed loudly and stopped his attack. He kissed the crown of my head and hugged me.
I closed my eyes and sighed.
When I opened my eyes I smiled.
I was happy, really happy, and Darcy was happy but God himself only knows how happy our families would be. Fireworks would go off again once they found out Darcy and I were taking things slow, but giving us a go.
The fuckers just better keep their meddling noses out of our relationship.
I'd be doing some burying of my own this time around if they didn't.
I’m finding it a little hard to believe that Frozen is the forth book I have written in less than ten months. I am so excited that I went with the idea for this story and stuck it out till the end; I fell in love with all the characters and loved telling their Christmas story. Of course, I would have never been able to finish Frozen and get it together for the public to read without my crew of helpers.
The first person I have to thank is my number one helper, my little sister, Edel. Thank you so much for sitting down and outlining Frozen with me. You’re always there to help me if I need it, and to tell me to shut up if I ask too much. LOL. Love you!
My mini me, thank you for having the patience to allow me to write without throwing a tantrum. You’re the sweetest little minion God could have ever blessed me with. I love you to Neptune and back!
